Portrait of a Warrior
Description: And her name is...Tyrena, - Tyri for short. At least for now. It's meant to evoke "tyrant" or "tyranny", but is she one? Well for now, let's just say she's misunderstood. I'm only about 80% settled on the name so there's a small chance it could change.

Let's talk about that face. What a face! I spent from Thanksgiving in November through the first half of January tweaking the morphs that created her look. I had originally intended to create an Asian-looking character, but I ended up with her looking like an alien, so I took a step back and just started to see what I could come up with that was different. I wanted to push some boundaries with the character and the expand types of faces I have. She has larger eyes and lips, and a flatter, wider nose than Kaiya and Shina (or any of my Twi'lek girls even). She's got naturally darker skin (thanks to the lovely Jade texture by -Silver- and Countess @ Renderosity). And though it's much hidden by her armor here, she has a more muscular body than Kaiya. Appropriate for a warrior, I think. And who doesn't love the twin ponytail/pigtail look? (I'm sure someone will chime in that they don't, but I don't care - it slays me!)

I think that's enough from me for now. Thanks for looking and especially for those taking the time to leave comments.

i really like this new work and this new character of yours! Its extreme, how you detailed her and her equipment! the emblem with the lion, the gravure in the armor and the embroidery in the leather on her arm! it's fantastic!

She's the kind of woman that causes alliances to be forged! :)

This close-up of her shows just how beautiful she looks, and the amount of work you did to get her looking as such. You get a feel for her character just by looking at her appearence. I can imagine how she would turn heads and win the hearts and minds of those who follow her and even those who fight against her.

I can picture how she would be a great fighter and commander and also be a great diplomat. Her beauty would help sway those of other civilisations.

You can really appreciate those elven eyes of hers and how pretty they make her look. Her full lips and beauty spot only heighten her charms. Oh and yes, I love the twin ponytails as well. Maybe after she puts the armour away, she slips into something more comfortable, turning heads even more (without causing injury or that weird Exorcist thing). Maybe there is some elven catwalk she models on in between all those battles. Maybe she is a pin-up on the walls of many individuals across the land.

Oh and as a final point, your close-up portrait of her is naughtily cropped at just the right position to show off that tight, full cleavage. I bet you did that deliberately to tease us even more. :-p

In fact, I should have added in my comments for her debut picture, how you often give your girls teasing outfits even when they are clothed. Those leather trousers of hers are pretty low, aren't they? Is she wearing anything underneath that breastplate or is she relying on the cloth to keep her covered? Whatever the answer, I'm not complaining. :-D

Great attention to detail. Even the decoration on the armor looks great. I'm impressed.
