Rocket Girls - Introducing Max
Description: Introducing Max, the first of what I hope to be a series of "Rocket Girls". Max's face is based on the lovely Rianne character from DAZ3D.

Nice

It looks so mech better here than Rendo, more detail... even beyind the stupid resize thing. She has a very natural stnace and it actually looks like she's aiming at something.

Rendo is short for Renderosity, where there's a copy of my gallery.

My two pence...

Renderosity has always been a regular place for me but I must say that its new look and silly image view alteration has harmed ease of viewing. I've visited there for years but have never posted any messages, unlike here. This is a great site and shows the images how Giolon always wanted them to be seen. Those high res images really show just how great they are and how much work goes into each render. I'd love to see other artists do the same and show high res versions somewhere, particularly Chimera46 over at Renderosity. Along with Giolon, he renders amazing looking Twi'leks.

Another of my two pence...

Credit where credit is due, I say. :-)

I happened to find your thread on TheForce.net boards and read the comments of others with interest. Criticism does help to improve an artist's work but I noticed some people were complaining about the breast size of your women, particularly the Twi'leks. I personally think your women look great the way they are and even though, as a man, I like breasts of all shapes and sizes, I don't think the Twi'leks should have to have a smaller bust size because they supposedly need to resemble the ones in the movies. I'm sure Twi'leks are just as varied as Humans. Bottom line is, if you want to have them big, medium or small, it should be up to you.

Another point was one regarding nudity or semi-nudity. At the end of the day they are your creations and again, I love all of the women in your images. I don't have a problem with nudity but none of your images look smutty anyway. The feminine form is a beautiful thing and I like the way you depict them in your images. They look good clothed, partially clothed or completely naked. Some of my favourite images of yours are earlier ones that you have in your Renderosity gallery (but not here at the time of writing), such as Twi'lek Watery Bliss and Happy Birthday From Daru. A few of those faves do have nudity (or are very revealing) but they look erotic and sensual, rather than crude.

Oh and just for the record, I happen to love the colour of Ciel's lipstick. :-D

Keep up the great work (and apologies for the long post).

Hi res

Umm, The largest I usually render is 1280x960, with the composites cut and cropped from that. The composittes are then posted usually at 1280x960, so going any higher is not really an option. What I do make though is half a dozen or so other rendersfrom different angles that are then never posted. Sometimes people ask for them, and sometimes I give them, so far not on a centralized site though.

cool gun

My favorite part of this image is the awesome looking gun, but just about everything else is awesome too. Namely, the pose, goggles, other aparrel and setting. And I just noticed that she's carrying grenades! Also cool.

fit into it

I really like it that the render model and the background really seem to go together.

Cheers

This picture is full with details and thats important for me, but also the nature that surrounding the Character(s), which is Max now. Usually I look at the character(s) first and than the surroundings, but here my eyes stuck on Max, didn't really focus on the nature so much after a while and that is also positive. I really like this along with the weapon (DXR-6 disruptor rifle?) is cool. Her outfit is astonish and her stance is kind of ordinary, pushing out her fine butt (Sorry if it's a usuitable word), wish makes the art more beautiful.

Well, I can't really tell you what you can improve in the technology, that i'm sorry for, because I don't work with these things, wish is a pity. But what I see in the technology part its very fantastic work, but althought I can't tell anything in the technology part, I will instead speak my mind of the work.

If you allow me to sometimes criticism (Will not be much at all, probably some minior things *laugh*)your work of course. As I said to people that criticism my stories (Kind of a author), It's better than get criticism than only positive and glory, because with your criticism you can learn from it and turn it to something good.

PS: This wasn't suppose to be some kind of citat *laugh*

Amazing Work

The look, strenght, attitude, attractiveness of Max is amazing. I have seen thousands of pieces of sci-fi art online and I think your work with the Max character is by far the best there is on the internet. I love this image of max. I really want to see more of this character.
