Ocean's Summer Breeze
Ocean's Summer Breeze

Ocean's Summer Breeze
Description: Edit: So, I realized something went wrong with my last render...the displacement maps on the rocks somehow disappeared or rather disabled themselves, leading to the somewhat polygonal appearance. I've re-spun the image, and here's how it was originally intended to look.

Here's Kaiya enjoying the ocean's summer breeze! Since's it's been hot around the country lately (particularly where my brother is in Washington, it's been over 100!), I thought I'd make something to invoke a "cooling" feeling. Another couple angles will be coming on this.

Thanks for looking and for your comments!

Also, RadiantCG has made it onto the R'osity LinkShare front page listing! Yay!

Rendered in Vue.

IDK....

She seems "greenscreened" in this pic...

@Dawuss

I assure you she's standing on that rock in Vue along with everything else. Can't help how it looks to you though. I almost did go for the "greenscreen" b/c her outfit comes out nicer in Poser, but opted not to b/c the water would have been nigh impossible to pull off.

greenscreened?

You're on my Rendo side-bar now! I don't think this looks greenscreened just by the look of the shadow and water reflection (looks pretty natural, not added), though if some people have that impression I'd guess it was because she's standing tip-toed on the edge of a rock with one arm above her head. Not the best pose for balancing on a rock in the water...

That said, I'm not complaining about the pose, I think overall it works here and overall you made a dammed fine render. Still though, elf ears are nice and all, but it might nice too if she had some lekku, and like, some coloured skin...

No hot weather here.

Unfortunately the weather is the exact opposite here in the UK. Floods up and down the country and to me, the coldest Summer in a long time (barely getting above 20 C).

This image makes for a nice Summer scene and I would rather be there than here. The image looks great I think, although I personally would have placed her in the water if it was easy enough to do. The only reason I mention that is that rough, wet rock isn't the most comfortable surface to stand bare foot on. However, that is a minor point and not really a quibble.

She's quite beautiful, for a non-Zabrak. *grin* Just kidding- she's awesome. I've got to agree with Solaris, though, about the rock looking uncomfortable.

Hot, just one thing...

Looks Great first of all. But is it just me or is she kind of off balance? (right boob bigger than left..?)

Balance is not something nature usually provides my friend. And once again, this girl looks eerily like my girl. Except with a strange smooth face and i cant talk to this one.
